SqWires offers a modern American dining experience in a charming historic setting in Lafayette Square, St. Louis. Housed in a restored 19th-century factory, it combines original architectural elements with modern decor. Known for its seasonal, locally sourced menu, SqWires serves a variety of options, including seafood, prime meats, and vegetarian dishes, alongside indulgent desserts. The restaurant’s ambiance is enhanced by a cozy fireplace, art by Mary Sprague, and live jazz and blues on weekends. Owner Bethany Budde-Cohen honors family culinary traditions and supports the community, partnering in local initiatives and events that enrich Lafayette Square.
