03 Apr April 2012 Newsletter
April poses some difficult questions – like “which to eat first, the peeps chick or the chocolate egg?” And April gives us lots of official reasons to celebrate: In addition to Easter and Passover, April is host to National Garden Month and Keep America Beautiful Month with Arbor Day and Earth Day and Take Your Daughter To Work Day. Come in and celebrate all those lovely things at SqWires. It’s the perfect weather to enjoy patio dining and relaxing.
Easter brunch at SqWires pays tribute to the family feast – traditional but not without a few surprises! Make sure you have your reservation for the Buffet in the Annex or Brunch in the Restaurant.
In the spirit of World Health Day, SqWires kitchen captures the essence of spring with the season’s first tender spinach – and collard greens – buttery, garlicky and clean-your-plate yummy.
Tuesdays SqWires SqWare Plates are $5 treats you won’t forget – making the most of spring’s great produce and letting the flavors speak for themselves.
You may have reservations for dinner, but you shouldn’t have them about the wine! On Wednesdays, take the opportunity to try something different – Cab, Chard or Zin – your bottle of wine is half price with your entree.
Make your next visit to SqWires your own “dinner party” with music Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights and Sunday brunch. In April you’ll hear Curt Landes, Tom Hall, Mayor Taylor, Falling Martins, Eric Forman Duo, Bill Murphy, Usual Suspects Duo, Margaret Bianchetta Duo, Monica Casey, Bumblebee Bob Kamoski, Dawn Weber Duo, Bob Row Duo.
The only debate this month should be when to drop in for a visit at SqWires – with family or friends, to satisfy your passion for good food.
