We have met Santa and he is here in Lafayette Square. He lit the twenty-foot tree in the Park Avenue Plaza and continues to make surprise appearances here this holiday season. We don’t have a list for Santa; but we have a list of all we would like to share with all our patrons – so come on in and enjoy. Monday December 2 is the 6:30pm Singers and Songwriters Salon at SqWires – experience and share the best of local talent with a little light libation – salad, pizza, drinks.

Come experience the holidays at the Lafayette Square Holiday Parlour Tour Sunday the 8th from 10am til 6pm. (We have tickets and posters for you here at SqWires.) 10 homes and the sights and sounds and scents of Victorian Christmas with lighted windows, decorated trees, carriage rides, carolers, and the Victorian neighborhood in all its splendor. 10am – 5pm $16 advance tickets – children free when accompanied by adults.

Tuesday’s SqWare Plates will be sure to surprise you with holiday touches – look for pumpkin, cinnamon, peppermint and more in the small plates to share $5 each or 5 for $20.

Holidays are known for the best visits and the best wines. And every Wednesday, you can visit with your friends here at SqWires and enjoy a bottle of wine for half price with your lunch or dinner entrees. We have some super sparklers that just seem right this time of year, plus some red gems that are spicy and smooth.

Have extended family in town for celebration? Thursday night Family Style Fried Chicken Dinner is easy-entertaining and a treat for everyone. How can you beat crispy buttermilk fried chicken, buttery whipped potatoes and gravy, creamy mac & cheese, old fashioned green bean casserole, fluffy biscuits.

Weekend breakfast & brunch starts at 8am and features bloody Mary and mimosa bar with all the fixin’s.
