We’re closing in on the end of winter!  No better way to thaw out and warm up than to relax with friends at SqWires – fireside or in the bar enjoying the sounds of St. Louis’ favorite music.  And it’s now nonsmoking at SqWires throughout the restaurant and bar.

And because it’s March and we’re looking for reasons to celebrate, we’ll cook up some terriffic St. Patricks Day treats – and of course some Irish coffee for sipping.

You know we love to throw a party and March 18 you’re invited to Oyster Fest – a great buffet where $35 brings you Oysters 5 Ways:  Oyster Stew, BBQ Oysters, Cornmeal Fried Oysters, Mini Oyster Grinders and six Oysters on the Half Shell shucked just for you;  and all the fixin’s plus Caesar Salad, Companion Bread, a draft of Schlafly’s Pale Ale.  Whew!  Make your reservations right away.

We’re also taking reservations for Easter Brunch April 4 starting at 10am in the Restaurant and the Annex. Music accompanies the SqWires Annex elaborate buffet with carving and omelet stations, seafood display, homemade desserts, all your brunch favorites.  For the Annex Buffet Adults $29 Children under 12 $15 Children under 5 free. The Dining Room alacarte menu features lots of holiday specials and beautiful music.

We know you’ll be happy when Spring arrives – and talk about “Happy”, we’ve got Happy Hours:  SqWires will delight you with 1/2 price appetizers.  Create good cheer with great drink specials.  You’ll be elated to know that SqWires Happy Hours are 4-7pm Monday through Friday.

Remember you can enjoy live music Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.   Each  Monday features $5 square plates, Wednesday half-off all bottled wines with dinner and  Friday oyster bar happy hours.
